Welcome to Hotel Krey
I run a small, cozy hotel with 6 rooms and live in the other part of the house myself. All rooms have their own shower, toilet, satellite TV, and Wi-Fi.
The hotel is located by the E18 near Bofors and Rosendal, next to a Circle-K station with an EV charger.
As the hotel is so small there is no staffed reception — entry is via intercom and code lock. But I am usually on-site.
Despite its proximity to the E18 and the town, the location is secluded and peaceful. In the evening you can brew a cup of coffee or tea and help yourself to sandwiches and yogurt from the fridge.
Or take an evening stroll along the old canal all the way to Björkborn Manor — once the home of Alfred Nobel.

Directions
The hotel is centrally located in Karlskoga, close to Bofors, Circle-K gas station, Bofors station, Rosendal, and more.
From Karlstad, Oslo on E18
- 1. Pass the large roundabout, drive 2.5 km.
- 2. Pass a Circle-K gas station on the left side.
- 3. Turn right immediately after the bridge over the Timsälven river.
- 4. Turn left under the viaduct.
- 5. Take the first left and then the second road on the right.
Sign at the exit on E18: Rosendal, Bofors Port R.
From Örebro, Stockholm on E18
- 1. Pass a Preem gas station and Frasses hamburgers on the right side.
- 2. Take the 3rd exit on the right and then immediately turn left.
- 3. If you have crossed the bridge and passed the Circle-K, you have gone too far.
Sign at the exit on E18: Rosendal, Bofors Port R.
